AIU offers resources, events, and support to help you get your education off to a great start
To help you gain an understanding of the AIU education process and familiarize yourself with our campus, we have an in-person orientation session and virtual classroom for new students prior to the start of classes.
The in-person session will enable you to:
- Meet with the Program Chair
- Get your photo ID
- Explore our Support Services area
- Scope out your classroom
- Verify your class schedule
AIUReady is a virtual classroom experience that will help you prepare for your classes and provides resources such as financial aid and time management strategies
- Purchase some basic school supplies: pens, pencils, highlighters, notebooks, sticky notes and a backpack or other carrying case. Additional needed supplies will be indicated per your course load.
- Set up a home work environment that allows you to read, write, research, study and concentrate in a setting free of clutter and distractions.
- Although computers are available for use on campus, a personal computer with internet access and Microsoft Office or similar software is recommended.
